We are looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Leader
Mission
Ensure supplier quality and reliability by:
· Introducing and qualifying new suppliers.
· Monitoring and managing supplier performance.
· Driving actions to improve performance and mitigate risks.
Key Challenges
· Support Sonaca's organizational transformation by deploying SQA processes.
· Lead and develop a dedicated team.
· Directly manage one Key Group Commodity.
Main Responsibilities
1. Supplier Panel Management
· Assess and qualify suppliers.
· Onboard and maintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
· Drive supplier development initiatives.
1. Supplier Quality Management
· Monitor supplier performance and KPIs.
· Conduct procurement risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
· Manage quality escapes and RCCA (Root Cause & Corrective Actions), including NOE when required.
1. Supplier Surveillance
· Plan and execute audits.
· Perform AS9100 / Nadcap desk reviews.
· Ensure compliance with QRS and APQP (Phase 5).
1. Team Leadership
· Manage an ESA team (3 engineers).
· Coordinate internally across all H-levels and departments.
· Act as the main interface with suppliers and customers.
Profile
· Education: Engineering degree.
· Experience: Minimum 10 years in quality management with strong technical and leadership background.
· Technical Skills:
o APQP and project management.
o Problem-solving and root cause analysis.
o Audit management.
o Process qualification.
· Behavioral Skills:
o Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
o Excellent communication skills.
o Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
