What you'll be doing
As a
Fiber Engineer
, you'll be the go-to expert for our external design partners. You'll streamline processes, coach teams on technical matters, and step in when challenges arise — keeping projects moving forward. In this dynamic role, you'll get to combine your technical expertise, coaching talent, and problem-solving mindset and play a key role in every project you take on. Your job as Fiber Engineer will include the following core responsibilities:
 * Guiding and supporting
 external design teams, sharing your knowledge through daily Q&A sessions.
 * Ensuring high-quality fiber designs by maintaining
 quality standards
, ensuring
 smooth processes
 and pursuing
 continuous improvements
 .
 * Solving challenging
 technical questions
 and escalations, while working closely with project managers and other stakeholders.
 * Designing fiber
 networks yourself for complex or high-impact projects.
Who you are
You're an experienced Fiber Engineer or Fiber Designer who's ready to take on a central, impactful role. If you believe you're the ideal candidate, these qualities will probably sound familiar to you:
 * You have at least
 3 years of experience
 as a
 Fiber Engineer or Fiber Design
, with solid hands-on knowledge of FTTH design and technology. Experience with fiber design tools (such as Marlin) is a plus.
 * You have strong
 analytical
 thinking skills and solve problems in no time.
 * You are highly fluent in
 English
. Knowledge of the Dutch language is a strong asset.
 * You are an excellent
 communicator
 with strong
 coaching
 skills.
 * You are proactive,
 flexible
, and thrive in a
 dynamic
 environment.
