The Incident Management team is responsible for ensuring the effective handling of incidents that impact the quality of service, from their creation through to their resolution. As part of a team of three, you will be responsible for managing incidents in line with their priority and the established incident management process. This includes providing timely updates to business lines and managing the progress towards service restoration. In case of major incidents, you will organize and coordinate crisis teams. You will also report recurring incidents as potential problems and ensure their resolution.
Responsibilities:
Incident Management
* Overseeing the entire life cycle of incidents
* Driving incident resolution to ensure compliance with SLAs/OLAs
* Contributing to the upkeep and visibility of the incident knowledge base
* Managing incidents based on priority level
* Keeping stakeholders regularly updated on resolution progress
Crisis Management
* Participating in the IMOD (Incident Manager on Duty) rotation (24/7) once a month for critical applications
* Organizing and leading crisis management teams during major incidents
* Communicating with top management on the status and resolution of critical incidents
* Providing frequent updates to stakeholders on resolution progress
Problem Management
* Ensuring strict adherence to the incident management process from creation through to resolution
* Proactively contributing to continuous improvements of the incident management process
* Identifying and escalating recurring incidents as potential problems
* Ensuring that problem management processes are followed through their entire life cycle
* Preparing and leading post-incident review meetings to drive continuous improvement
