About the Role
We are seeking a Cloud Microsoft 365 & Intune Engineer (Freelance) to join our client's high-impact team for an 11-month mission based in Charleroi, France. This is a freelance opportunity for a true builder — someone who thrives on architecting, optimizing, and securing complex Microsoft cloud environments at scale. You'll be at the heart of a transformation, empowering over 3,000 users and managing more than 7,000 devices, ensuring seamless, secure, and future-ready digital workplaces.

As a Cloud Microsoft 365 & Intune Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and evolving cloud solutions that directly impact business continuity, security, and user productivity. Your expertise will drive the adoption of best-in-class cloud management practices, ensuring the organization remains agile, compliant, and ahead of the curve.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement new solutions leveraging Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 products, tailored to a complex, large-scale environment.
* Actively participate in M365-related projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful outcomes.
* Lead the operational management (run) of Intune and M365 platforms, including third-line support for requests, incidents, and continuous improvements.
* Oversee endpoint management using Intune/Autopilot/WhiteGlove for 7,000+ devices, ensuring modern management best practices.
* Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services: Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Windows Defender, DLP, and more.
* Develop and execute complex PowerShell scripts for automation, remediation, and advanced troubleshooting.
* Ensure robust security across cloud environments, utilizing DLP, Defender, PurView, and conditional access policies.
* Maintain and enhance Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments, including GPO and AAD Connect management.
* Document solutions and processes clearly, ensuring knowledge transfer and operational excellence.
* Collaborate on-site in Charleroi at least two days per week (Mondays and Thursdays), with additional on-site presence as needed.
Technical Skills & Experience
* Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite: Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, Teams.
* Deep expertise in Microsoft Intune: full platform management, WhiteGlove, Autopilot, compliance policies, remediation scripts, packaging, and conditional access.
* Advanced knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server, including GPO and AAD Connect.
* Strong command of Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
* Proven experience with Microsoft security tools: DLP, Defender, PurView.
* Advanced troubleshooting skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
* Solid understanding of core network services: DNS, DHCP, VPN.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Graph and scripting (PowerShell).
* Experience managing hardware PC troubleshooting and mobile technologies (iOS/Android).
* Minimum 5 years as a cloud system administrator (L3) in Microsoft 365 environments.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in environments with at least 1,000 users.
* ISO27001 certification (nice to have).
* IT architecture expertise (nice to have).
Language Proficiency
* French: C2 (full professional proficiency required)
* English: B1 (intermediate proficiency on the CEFR scale)
Other Requirements
* Autonomous, collaborative, and an excellent communicator.
* Strong documentation skills for solutions and processes.
* Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (site is not easily accessible by public transport).
* Freelance contract: 11 months, with potential for renewal.
* On-site presence in Charleroi, France, minimum two days per week (Mondays and Thursdays), with flexibility for additional days as needed.
