Role: Network Consultant
Location: Ghent, Belgium (Hybrid 3 days onsite/week)

Responsibilities
* Perform on‑site installation, configuration, and commissioning of network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and network appliances.
* Provide L2/L3 field support for LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD‑WAN environments.
* Execute network rollouts, migrations, upgrades, and decommissioning activities.
* Perform structured cabling checks, rack & stack, patching, and labeling as per standards.
* Diagnose and resolve network issues related to routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, ACLs, and firewalls.
* Troubleshoot connectivity issues in MPLS, Internet Leased Line (ILL), broadband, and VPN setups.
* Handle incidents within defined SLA/TAT, escalating to L3/vendor when required, and providing root cause analysis.
* Perform hardware replacement (RMA), device recovery, and failover testing on‑site.
* Basic understanding of IDS/IPS, NAT, ACLs, Cisco routing and switching, TCP/IP fundamentals, VLSM/CIDR, QoS, IP subnetting, cabling (copper and fiber).
