Job Introduction

We are hiring Configuration/Deployment Manager for European Commission DG Informatics (DIGIT TM) in Brussels and various locations around Europe.
Key Responsibilities
* Software configuration management.
* Build and continuous integration.
* Establishment maintenance procedures related to deployment of information systems.
* Management of development infrastructure (e.g. application servers).
* Help/guide development team in the transition of the applications to the cloud
* Manage automated CI/CD pipelines.
* Release management, tickets follow-up and controls.
* Analysis of information systems performances.
* Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers
Skills
* Bachelor's level or 3 years of higher education
* Excellent knowledge of software deployment management.
* Excellent knowledge of software release management.
* Excellent knowledge of building and deployment tools (e.g. Maven).
* Very good knowledge of ticketing system (e.g. Jira)
* Very good knowledge of CI/CD automation tools (e.g. Bamboo, GitLab).
* Very good knowledge of cloud deployment (AWS).
* Knowledge of application servers (e.g. Tomcat).
* Knowledge of RDBMS. Ability to apply high quality standards
* Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
* Analysis and problem-solving skills
* Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
* Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills
* Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;
* Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;
* Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;

* At least 3 years of expertise in CI/CD
