The Role

Atlas Copco Cloud Environment

Atlas Copco is executing a significant digital transformation, underpinned by a large and rapidly expanding global Azure cloud platform. The Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) is a critical function within the global Solutions team, established to guide, govern, and accelerate our business units' journey to maximize value from the cloud.

Our Mission: We design, build, and maintain a robust and highly consumable cloud platform, ensuring easy access to services and centralized operational excellence for core components.

Operating Model: We leverage a strategic managed services partner for the operational management of the Azure Cloud environment and engage consultants for specialized, on-demand support.

Future Vision: We are in full transition to leverage more cloud and software-related services in our Business areas to speed up the projects they want to achieve.

The CCoE Team: The CCoE is a high-impact, cross-functional team of 7 members (internal and external) specializing in critical domains such as DevOps, FinOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Governance. We foster a culture of continuous learning and development, actively working toward T-shaped profiles where every member contributes across specializations.

Professional Experience

1. Demonstrable experience in Vendor Management, experience overseeing Managed Service Providers (MSPs) for critical infrastructure.
2. Proven background in leading and managing high-performing technical teams using Agile methodologies.
3. Direct experience working within a large-scale cloud environment (Azure).
4. Familiarity with the ITIL framework is a significant advantage.

Technical Expertise

5. Solid foundational to advanced knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, Architecture, and Services (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, Serverless), preferably within Azure is key.

6. Structured Leader: Exceptional ability to bring structure to ambiguity and organize complex, cross-functional initiatives.
7. Strategic & Results-Oriented: Highly objective-oriented, self-driven, and focused on delivering tangible business results and continuous value.
8. People Leadership: Proven capability in mentoring, developing, and motivating team members.
9. Customer & Business Focus: End user-centric and possesses a strong business mindset to translate technical capabilities into commercial advantages.
10. Learning Mindset: A high degree of learning agility and a passion for technology and the role.
11. Continuous Improvement: Innate ability to drive continuous improvement, always seeking a better, more efficient way of working.
12. Communication: Strong verbal and written English language skills are essential for global communication and partner management.
