Job description
In this role, you will support clinical research studies across three key areas: clinical services, laboratory activities, and recruitment support.
Within clinical services, you will be responsible for collecting clinical data and samples, including ECGs, vital signs, and venipuncture. You will execute study procedures in line with study protocols, internal SOPs, and applicable guidelines. Ensuring data accuracy and completeness is a key part of your role, as well as maintaining proper source documentation. You will observe and report clinical adverse events and communicate these to medical providers and nursing staff for further evaluation and treatment, which is why a nursing diploma is essential. You will also provide limited instructions and assistance to study participants and ensure safe and ethical care within the scope of your professional license. Participation in mandatory clinical training and keeping training records up to date are also part of the role.
In terms of laboratory support, you will manage clinical samples, generate sample labels, and complete the required documentation. You will review, file, reconcile, and maintain documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) standards and support the management of laboratory reagents and consumables.
Finally, within recruitment support, you will conduct pre-screening interviews by phone and assist with updating, cleaning, and maintaining the participant database.
Profiel
You hold a nursing diploma and a valid professional license and are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written. You work accurately and in a structured manner and have a strong sense of responsibility for participant safety and data quality. You communicate easily with different stakeholders and have an interest in clinical research or working in a regulated environment.
Aanbod
You will join the company through a temporary assignment of one year, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a professional and well-structured clinical research setting. You can expect a daytime work schedule from Monday to Friday, with only very occasional Saturday work depending on study requirements.
On top of the attractive salary, you will also receive meal vouchers.
