The ideal candidate for this position will provide project management for planning and organizing all aspects of the construction phase of a pharmaceutical CAPEX project. The Construction Manager will oversee multidisciplinary site teams and act as the primary point of contact for resolving construction-related issues, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
Responsibilities
* Oversee all phases of the construction project from mobilization to completion
* Lead cross-functional coordination across mechanical, electrical, CSA, safety, commissioning, and contracts teams
* Ensure all works comply with GMP standards, industry regulations, and local building codes
* Maintain and manage construction schedules to ensure minimal disruption to live operations
* Implement and monitor pharma-specific quality control procedures and oversee inspections
* Provide regular progress tracking, reporting, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture
* Fluent Dutch is desirable
* Strong time management and prioritization skills
* Proven decision-making capabilities in high-pressure environments
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary construction teams
* Prior experience in pharmaceutical or laboratory construction projects is highly desirable
