We are supporting a confidential search for an experienced Head of Regional IT to lead end-user IT operations across Northern and Central Europe, supporting a regional user base of approximately 2,000–3,000 employees.
This is a senior leadership role focused on IT operations, workplace services, local support teams, infrastructure coordination, and stakeholder management across multiple countries.
The position is operationally focused and does not cover cybersecurity or business applications, which sit under separate global functions.
Regional coverage includes countries such as Belgium, Finland, Sweden, Netherlands, Switzerland and additional European markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead IT operations and end-user support across the region for 2,000–3,000 users
* Ensure devices, workplace technology, networks, and local infrastructure run effectively
* Manage distributed local IT teams and regional support managers
* Drive service quality, user satisfaction, and operational performance
* Coordinate with global Infrastructure, Security, and Applications teams
* Represent regional priorities within the wider IT organisation
* Oversee vendors, support models, budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure governance, standards, and IT processes are followed consistently
* Manage multi-country IT support teams across several locations, including direct reports and local managers.
Candidate Profile
* Strong experience in Regional IT Management, IT Operations, Infrastructure Leadership, or End-User Services
* Proven leadership experience across multiple countries / sites
* Experience supporting large user populations (2k+ users preferred)
* Strong stakeholder management with senior leadership exposure
* International / matrix organisation experience
* Solid understanding of workplace IT and service delivery environments
* Fluent French is essential
* English required; additional European languages beneficial
Contract
Initially engaged on an interim / consulting basis, with potential for longer-term opportunity.
