Role Overview
As a Project Manager Infrastructure, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of strategic infrastructure projects within a complex enterprise environment. You will lead projects around server infrastructure, database platforms, identity & access management and hybrid cloud.
In addition, you will take on a key role in organizing and coordinating Disaster Recovery exercises and supervising Identity Provider (IDP) projects. You will work closely with technical teams, architects and suppliers to deliver projects on time, safely and with high quality.
Responsibilities
Infrastructure projects
* Leading projects around servers, Windows infrastructure, storage, databases and hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure, private cloud).
* Drafting, managing and following up on project plans in MS Project and Jira.
* Coordination of migrations and deployments: Windows Server, databases, identity platforms, cloud components.
* Organizing syncs, technical workshops and alignment meetings.
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
* Project management of Entra ID / Azure AD projects.
* Coordinate IDP implementations: SAML, OAuth2/OIDC, SCIM, B2B/B2C integrations.
* Organizing projects around Entra ID External Identities.
* Monitoring security, conditional access, MFA policies and identity governance in collaboration with security and architecture.
Disaster Recovery & Continuity
* End-to-end coordination of Disaster Recovery exercises.
* Developing and maintaining DR scenarios, scenarios and test plans.
* Monitoring RTO/RPO objectives and following up on improvement actions.
* Align with Business Continuity, security and technical teams.
Stakeholdercommunicatie & Governance
* Transparent reporting to management, internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
* Monitoring scope, planning, budget and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
* Timely escalation of risks, dependencies and blockers.
* Follow security, architecture, and governance guidelines.
* Managing documentation, technical decisions, audit preparations, and quality controls.
Technical Expertise (Pros)
* Very good knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and server infrastructure.
* Experience with databases:
* Oracle
* PostgreSQL
* Cloud‑databases (RDS, Azure SQL, …)
* Hands-on experience with Disaster Recovery and failovertesting.
* Inzicht in Entra ID, IDP‑flows, federatie, External Identities, conditional access, identity governance.
* Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), private cloud environments and hybrid architectures.
* Understanding CI/CD, monitoring, security principles, and network fundamentals.
* Experience with project tools such as Jira, MS Project, Confluence, Visio.

Who we are looking for
* At least 5 years of experience in project management within IT infrastructure.
* Experience with server, database, IAM, or data center projects.
* Experience with Entra ID / IDP projects is an important added value.
* Experience with DR coordination is a strong plus.
* Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and classic project methodologies.
* Certifications such as Prince2, PMP, ITIL are a plus.
