Communication & Marketing Manager

Concours Mondial de Bruxelles

Main Mission

The Communication & Marketing Manager’s mission is to strengthen the visibility, consistency and impact of the communication activities of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.

He or she will lead the implementation of the communication and marketing strategy, coordinate projects, and promote the competitions, results, medals, partners and events in Belgium and internationally.

Main Responsibilities

Communication & Marketing Strategy

Define, structure and implement the annual communication and marketing plan.

Ensure consistency of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles brand image across all channels and communication materials.

Propose concrete marketing actions to increase brand awareness, strengthen the attractiveness of the medals, and engage producers, partners, journalists, buyers and key opinion leaders.

Identify priorities, recommend solutions and translate strategic objectives into operational actions.

Institutional and Digital Communication

Coordinate the production of content for the website, newsletters, social media, press releases, presentation documents, commercial materials, digital campaigns and event-related content.

Ensure high-quality writing, clear messaging and adaptation of content to the different target audiences.

Coordinate communication before, during and after the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles events.

Project Management and Coordination

Manage several projects simultaneously in a dynamic and international environment.

Coordinate planning, deadlines, approvals, external service providers and internal stakeholders.

Work closely with the communication, sales and event teams, as well as with international partners.

Implement efficient follow-up methods to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Candidate Profile

You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in communication, marketing, project management or events, ideally in an international environment.

You have a strong marketing and strategic mindset, while being able to move quickly into action.

You are organised, structured, autonomous and able to manage several priorities at the same time.

You are solution-oriented, with a pragmatic and constructive approach.

You enjoy working as part of a team and are able to collaborate with different profiles, including management, colleagues, service providers, partners, producers and international contacts.

You adapt easily to an SME environment, where versatility, responsiveness and a hands-on mindset are essential.

Required Skills

Excellent writing skills in French and English.

Strong understanding of branding, communication and marketing challenges.

Good command of digital tools: social media, newsletters, CMS and planning tools.

Ability to build a communication plan and ensure its implementation.

Strong ability to manage priorities, deadlines and cross-functional projects.

Fluency in English is required. Any additional language is an asset.

Knowledge of, or a strong interest in, the world of wine, spirits, gastronomy or international events is a plus.
