Nexeo is currently looking for a Business Analyst for one of the leaders within the Energy industry in Belgium.

As Business Analyst, you will be responsible of the following tasks:
* Identify and evaluate business requirements for the asset management of renewable energy systems, integrating them into the electrical grid and power markets, and facilitating renewable energy trading.
* Write functional requirements documents for the specific asset management systems and the specific contract management and trading systems needed for renewable energy systems.
* Write test cases that cover the same functional scope, ensuring correct implementation of the functional requirements as documented, and satisfaction of the corresponding business requirements.
* Create functional documentation covering the delivered systems. It should cater to both users and support personnel, from low-level documentation to high-level documentation.
Profile
* In-depth knowledge of power markets, with expertise in renewable technologies and their specificities with regard to asset management and energy trading.
* Python and SQL skills with experience in software development, data science or related fields.
* Familiarity with cloud tools (e.g., AWS) and relational databases.
* Experience in trading or operating assets in wholesale and/or ancillary service markets is a plus
