Technical Writer, Healthcare Solutions

At Barco HQ Kortrijk, we’re looking for a Technical Writer to help shape how users interact with our cutting-edge healthcare display and software solutions. Your work will directly impact healthcare professionals around the world.
What you’ll do
2. Write clear, concise user documentation for our display hardware and software applications (user guides, installation manuals, service instructions, in-product help).
3. Design high-quality, self-explanatory product illustrations to enhance user understanding.
4. Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Regulatory Affairs, and Service teams to gather and simplify complex technical information.
5. Test and refine documentation and products for clarity, accuracy, and usability.
6. Create box artwork and product labels that are visually aligned and regulatory-compliant.
7. Support the completion of technical files to meet compliance standards.
8. Coordinate translations to support our global customer base.
Who you are
9. You have a technical background or a strong curiosity for how things work.
10. You’re an excellent communicator with a talent for simplifying complex information.
11. You’re fluent in English with strong writing and editing skills.
12. You have experience with graphic tools (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
13. You’re organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
14. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Bonus points for
15. Experience with hardware/software documentation. Proficiency in vector illustration and image editing. Familiarity with structured authoring or component content management systems (CCMS).
