As a Freelance Site Coordinator your responsibilities are:
* Coordinate and monitor health, safety and prevention activities across the site
* Ensure compliance with Belgian safety regulations and internal policies
* Support engineering and maintenance teams in implementing safe work practices
* Conduct or follow up on risk assessments, safety audits and incident investigations
* Monitor and improve safety procedures and prevention plans
* Coordinate safety aspects related to contractors and external interventions
* Provide guidance and awareness to operational teams on safety culture and best practices
* Ensure proper documentation, reporting and follow-up of corrective actions
* Support the site in maintaining regulatory readiness and inspection compliance
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to HSE performance
A successful Freelance Site Coordinator should have:
* Proven experience as Prevention Advisor / HSE Coordinator / Site Safety Coordinator in an industrial environment
* Strong knowledge of Belgian safety regulations and compliance frameworks
* Comfortable working in production plants with engineering and maintenance stakeholders
* Hands-on, pragmatic and able to operate close to the field
* Strong coordination and communication skills with a structured and solution-oriented mindset
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving operational environment
* Languages: Dutch and/or French + good English
