As an Accountant, you'll join a close-knit team of three experienced accountants, led by a Team Leader. You'll manage a portfolio of 18 entities and rotate through various accounting processes, ensuring you gain practical experience across the team.

You will be responsible for
Your main responsibilities include:
Procure to Pay (P2P):
* Reviewing and posting incoming invoices
* Managing outstanding accounts payable and reminders
* Approving purchase order requests and following up on missing/incorrect goods receipts
* Verifying payment runs
* Trial Balance (TB) reconciliation
Accounts Receivable (AR):
* Managing and issuing outgoing invoices
* Following up on unpaid invoices
* Turnover reconciliation
* Intercompany (ICO) recharges
* TB reconciliation
Balance Sheet:
* Managing fixed assets and verifying depreciation
* Handling activation/write-offs of assets
* Allocating dividend payments
* Reviewing ICO equity reports
* Managing ICO loans and posting related interests
* Bank postings
* VAT returns and reconciliation
Profit & Loss (P&L):
* Managing accruals/reconciliations (maintenance, insurance, operational LDs, wake losses, mutualisation claims/costs, landleases—IFRS16 and BE GAAP treatment, payroll, external staff, employee-linked insurance, tax including deferred tax)
What we expect from you
* You are a native speaker of Dutch or French, with strong proficiency (B2 level) in the other official language and English.
* You have a degree in Accounting.
* You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar function.
* You have experience with SAP or another ERP environment.
* You are proficient with Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* You have experience in an international group (this is a plus).
* You have an affinity for jobs that impact the environment.
* You are accurate, professional, and organised.
* You are a good communicator who enjoys sharing knowledge and ideas.
* You are a respectful team player who is solutions-oriented.
