Mechanical Engineer/Mechanical Designer

We're growing fast and looking for both junior and senior mechanical designers to join a highly innovative engineering team that designs and builds advanced machines entirely in-house.
This is not a role where your designs disappear into a black hole, you'll see your ideas come to life on the workshop floor and stay involved all the way through to testing and final delivery.

What you'll do
* Design and develop custom machines and robotic systems (assembly, pick & place, mechatronics)
* Create detailed drawings and parts lists for manufacturing
* Select components and work closely with suppliers
* Stay involved throughout the entire project lifecycle
* Collaborate directly with the workshop during build phases
* Support testing and installation, ensuring everything performs as designed
* Communicate with customers and partners on technical aspects
Senior Engineers
* Take full ownership of projects after the sales phase
* Combine design expertise with project leadership
* Work on complex systems involving robotics, hydraulics, and PLC-driven machines
* Play a key role in bringing advanced machine concepts to life
Junior Engineers
* Get hands-on experience across the full engineering lifecycle
* Learn directly from experienced engineers and real-world projects
* Grow quickly in a dynamic, high-tech environment
What you bring
* Experience in mechanical design (SolidWorks is essential)
* Background in mechanical engineering (Bachelor's or Master's)
* Interest in machine building, automation, or robotics
* Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving
* Fluent Dutch
