The team works daily with internal departments, airline partners and warehouse teams to optimally organize cargo flows. You will become part of a driven, international and close‑knit team where expertise, ownership and accuracy are central. Your new role As an Air FreightPlanner, you ensure that the available capacity on flights is optimallypurchased, planned and utilized. You review requests from internal departments,negotiate capacity, and make sure all volume calculations are correct. Youquickly adapt to changes, follow trends, and continuously coordinate with bothairlines and the warehouse. In concrete terms, this means you will: Be responsible for planning and booking cargo capacity on flights. Perform volume calculations and help prepare quotations. Actively purchase capacity from airlines and participate in price negotiations. Detect trends and proactively propose volume adjustments. Process booking requests from internal teams quickly and accurately. Communicate increases, cancellations or returns of capacity on time. Register, report and follow up on deviations. Provide correct instructions to operations, the warehouse, and trucking partners. Book shipments through various air‑freight platforms. Your profile Experience in air freight (freight forwarder, cargo handling) is an absolute must. Understanding of aircraft configurations and loading capacity. Analytical, financially minded and solution‑oriented. Strong communication skills and able to maintain overview in a dynamic environment. You work in a structured, accurate way and have a proactive mindset. English is a must (fluent, internally & externally); Dutch and/or French are a plus.
