Key Account Manager – Energy Solutions (Belgium)
Industrial Battery & Energy Storage SolutionsMy client, a global leader in innovative and sustainable battery storage systems, is looking for a Key Account Manager to drive growth across the Flemish region and Brussels. With 135+ years of expertise and a strong focus on sustainability and recycling, they provide advanced energy storage technologies used in UPS, data centers, telecom, transport, and large‐scale energy systems.
The RoleYou will be responsible for developing and expanding relationships with major customers, manufacturers, and end‐users while identifying new project opportunities. Your focus will be roughly 70% farming / 30% hunting.
Key responsibilities include:Managing and growing key accounts; identifying new business opportunities.Planning and executing customer visits (2–3 per day).Providing commercial and technical guidance on battery and charging solutions.Ensuring my client's technologies are included early in project design phases.Maintaining accurate reporting in CRM and preparing offers & documentation.Acting as first point of contact for technical issues (with internal support).Representing my client at relevant trade shows and industry events.
What You BringBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar (or equivalent experience).Experience in electrical engineering, industrial installations, or project environments.Knowledge of UPS/emergency power systems is beneficial but not mandatory.Strong commercial & technical communication skills.Fluent Dutch & English; conversational French or willingness to improve.Solid MS Office skills and a proactive mindset toward learning.
