One of our clients is an Italian group with a cost center in Belgium. Our client is seeking a Senior Office Manager to oversee the administrative, financial, and HR operations of two entities.
You will be reporting to a Manager who only speaks Italian: Therefore, a strong level of Italian is very important.
Your responsibilities as Senior Office Manager:
* Act as the main interface between the Belgian team and the Italian headquarters, adapting to a fast-paced, urgency-driven Italian working style.
* To oversee the full accounting cycle up to financial statement publication, including VAT declarations and fee calculations for client contracts. You will coordinate with an external accountant for tax declarations.
* Manage employment contracts and working conditions under Belgian law using SD Worx. Handle preventive measures, safety, and lease agreements.
* Quarterly reporting.
* Ordering supplies for the Office
Profile Required:
* Proven experience in a similar role is a must.
* Fluent Italian is mandatory (level 3 or higher). You must also be proficient in English. French is required for local operations.
* Accounting knowledge is essential. You do not need a specific accounting diploma, but you must be precise, autonomous, and capable of handling complex administrative tasks.
* You must be calm under pressure, and able to show flexibility and kindness
