Supply Chain Manager Location: Brussels
Salary: €75,000 (Dependant on experience)
Your Mission
As a Supply Chain Manager, you coordinate all supply chain activities within a matrix organization. You report directly to the Plant Manager and functionally to the Head of Supply Chain. You lead the local Supply Chain team and act as the process owner for all supply chain-related activities within the plant.
Your Responsibilities
Ensure all supply chain activities comply with customer, internal, and external requirements
Define and implement the supply chain strategy and organizational structure aligned with company and plant objectives
Monitor and drive performance through KPIs and budget alignment
Coordinate inbound, outbound, and production planning processes
Develop and implement best practices and promote knowledge sharing
Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives within a lean environment
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
Communicate performance results and improvements to key stakeholders
Organize and optimize shop floor activities using continuous improvement methodologies
Ensure core supply chain processes are properly implemented and respected
Anticipate and respond proactively to customer needs and changes
Lead, coach, and develop team members
Ensure compliance with safety standards within the scope of responsibility
Oversee logistics workforce planning (including scheduling, training, and qualifications)
Your Profile
Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain environment
At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role
Key Competencies
Knowledge of automotive or industrial environments is an advantage
Familiarity with quality and environmental standards (e.g., IATF, ISO)
Fluent in the local language and English
Strong MS Office skills
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
Affinity for IT systems and digitalization of logistics processes
Proven experience in improving logistics flows and processes
Strong continuous improvement mindset (Lean principles)
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
