For a global customer providing services in over 150 countries, we are searching for a freelance DevOps Engineer to support several teams for infrastructure and platform operations.
Responsibilities
* Troubleshooting and solving automation/monitoring faults
* Design and advice on best practices
* Creating and maintaining internal alerting rules
* Creating work instructions, documentation and procedures
* Automate the daily work where possible
* Actively contribute to the migration of legacy tooling and environment, but also to new projects delivery
Profile
* A no-nonsense IT engineer with all-round IT-interests always willing to go the extra mile, delivering accuracy and security in the work performed
* Strong experience with CI/CD, automated testing, Ansible and Docker containers
* Knowledge or interested in monitoring tools in general, such as Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana
* Understanding monitoring concepts through SNMP or API
* Hands-on experience of network & security related technologies is a plus
* Experience with database technologies, ideally PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB
* Good administrative skills with a strong eye for detail
* Being certified as Zabbix specialist or professional is a plus
