Role Overview
We are seeking a high-level Senior Project Manager with a dual background in Engineering/Architecture and Physical Security Systems. This is a "Level 6" position, requiring a candidate who acts as a technical authority in the design, procurement, and maintenance of complex security infrastructures. You will lead the full project lifecycle, ensuring that physical security measures (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Detection) are seamlessly integrated into building infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-End Project Leadership: Manage large-scale technical and physical security infrastructure projects from the initial design phase through to final acceptance and maintenance.
* Technical Specification & Procurement: Draft comprehensive technical documentation and specifications for public tender procedures.
* System Oversight: Define standards and optimize architectures for systems including CCTV (Genetec/Omnicast), Access Control (Nedap AEOS), and anti-intrusion technologies (bollards, security gates, etc.).
* Contractor Supervision: Act as the primary interface with external vendors and contractors, ensuring strict compliance with technical, budgetary, and timeline requirements.
* Risk Assessment: Conduct security risk assessments and define technical mitigating measures for existing and new building projects.
* Technical Consultancy: Provide expert advice on integrating security solutions within architectural blueprints and existing facilities.
Core Requirements
* Academic Background: University degree in Engineering or Architecture.
* Technical Expertise: Proven mastery of physical security technologies (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Detection, Security Doors).
* Procurement Knowledge: Strong experience with public procurement procedures (knowledge of EU/PRAG rules is highly advantageous).
* Design Tools: High proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and reviewing security drawings.
* Project Methodology: Certified in or experienced with PM2, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management frameworks.
* Languages: Fluency in English (C1);
additional languages used in the Brussels region are an asset.
Preferred Certifications
* Genetec Certified Professional (Omnicast)
* Nedap AEOS Certification
* AutoDesk AutoCAD Certified Professional
Work Environment
* Autonomy: This role requires a high degree of autonomy, advanced analytical capacity, and the ability to mentor junior team members.
