🚨 The technical challenge: Build the brains of tomorrow’s tramways
We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join a high-impact project focused on the development and deployment of embedded software solutions for tramway control systems. You’ll work in a critical, fast-paced international environment, tackling real-world challenges from design to commissioning.
🎯 Your mission:
* Design and develop embedded software using Control Build
* Model systems in MATLAB / Simulink, particularly for projects based in Charleroi
* Contribute to the integration of TCMS (Train Control & Monitoring Systems)
* Work on power electronics topics and traction converters
* Support commissioning and testing phases
* Take ownership of technical topics and collaborate with international teams
👤 Your profile:
* Background in embedded electronics, automation, or embedded software engineering
* At least 2 years of experience
* Prior experience in the rail industry (tram, metro, train, etc.) is a strong plus
* Exposure to certified or safety-critical environments is highly valued (e.g., EN 50128)
🧰 Technical skills:
* Control Build → mandatory
* MATLAB / Simulink → essential for Charleroi projects
* Experience with TCMS, traction converters, and commissioning → strong assets
* Interest in power electronics
* Fluent in both French and English
