Arnold & Porter is an international law firm with 16 offices in the United States, Europe, and Asia that provides sophisticated regulatory, litigation, and transactional services across multiple industries. Our Brussels office, which has recently relocated to Avenue Louise, currently has a Professional Support Lawyer opening.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Professional Support Lawyer, you will play a key role in:

* Supporting legal work by maintaining and developing know-how, precedents, and training materials across merger control, cartel investigations, and abuse of dominance matters, and supporting legal research tasks.
* Tracking legal and policy developments in the EU and globally, with a focus on fast-moving areas such as digital markets and pharmaceutical regulation.
* Collaborating closely with attorneys to ensure the team remains at the forefront of legal thinking and client service.
* Contributing to thought leadership, including client alerts, internal updates, and external publications.
* Engaging with a diverse range of matters, reflecting the dynamic nature of our practice and the variety of clients we serve.


QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum of 3 years of experience working as PSL or solicitor in a law firm or in‑house in the field of antitrust.
* Law degree or relevant legal education.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
