HR Manager Job Description
The Role
• Lead HR activities on both strategic and operational levels.
Key Responsibilities
• Refine and implement procedures for Recruitment, Training & development, and Performance review & promotion.
• Forecast and plan hiring for new and existing restaurants.
• Build hiring networks in Italy (kitchen staff) and Belgium (front of house).
• Manage international recruitment and integration processes.
• Oversee training programs and performance appraisals.
• Ensure smooth HR operations including payroll and leave planning.
Ideal Background & Skills
• Bachelor's or Master's in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.
• At least 7 years' experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in hospitality, retail, or a multi-site organization.
• Experience supporting growth, especially through scaling or franchising, is highly desirable.
• Fluent (oral and written) in Dutch and French, and excellent knowledge of English.
• Hands-on, proactive, and pragmatic – not afraid to roll up sleeves.
• High emotional intelligence and diplomacy.
• Experience with HR platforms and digital tools.
