Overview
Ideatec is looking for a Firmware and Hardware Developer.
Ideatec designs and manufactures embedded electronic products (controllers and sirens) for emergency and intervention vehicles.
Work environment: Full-time permanent contract (4/5 possible), 2 days per week of remote work.
Responsibilities
* New product development
* Improvement of existing products
* Participation in the creation of specifications
* Participation in defining technological orientations
* Technical support to customers
* Contact with subcontractors and management of technical files made available to them
* Creation of test benches and procedures for validation
* Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
Qualifications / Profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (M/F/X)
* Minimum 5-10 years of experience in software development: C and C++
* Minimum 5-10 years of experience in hardware development: schematics, BOM creation, PCB design using Altium
* Knowledge and/or experience with WiFi/Bluetooth technologies
* Knowledge and/or experience with CAN bus
* Knowledge of project management methodologies (V-model)
* Creative, able to propose innovative solutions
* Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts
* Languages: French and English required, another language is an asset
* Organized, able to prioritize tasks, methodical and rigorous in order to achieve objectives focused on customer satisfaction
* Motivated, versatile and dynamic, able to work in a team
* Interest in the automotive sector is an asset
* Interest in 3D mechanical design, knowledge of Solidworks is an asset
