AIG Operations has an exciting opportunity to join the Underwriting support team and assist the underwriters. /p h3About The Role /h3 h3What you need to know /h3 h3Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities /h3 ul liYou will visit our Partner Brokers and Key Customers in order to represent AIG in the broadest sense with emphasis on joined appetite and opportunities. Important part of your role is to add value to these relationships to distinguish AIG from the other insurers. /li liTo ensure retention of existing business and identify and deliver a constant stream of targeted new business opportunities across the range of AIG products, by developing and maintaining relationships with clients and by securing strong relationships with key business influencers within the brokers. /li liDeliver annual new business production and cross selling from existing clients/brokers in line with set objectives. /li liEnsure retention of all existing business within assigned portfolio in line with Profit Centre renewal strategies. /li liDevelop and maintain an understanding and working relationship with each client/broker within the assigned portfolio. /li liFacilitate AIG Corporate relationships at all levels with clients and brokers. /li liIdentify and maintain regular contact with key business influencers at major brokers. /li liProvide focal point for clients/brokers. /li liIdentify new and cross sell business opportunities from designated portfolio of clients and brokers and co-ordinate sales process. /li liProvide framework and guidance for effective service delivery on assigned portfolio. /li liMaintain AIG’s Salesforce database. /li liRoll out the distribution strategy and focus on priorities like ‘thought leadership’ and superior account relationship management. /li liBuild, maintain and expand existing and new commercial relationships with Partner Brokers and Key Customers. /li liLook together with the brokers to expand the portfolios. /li liMonitor our retention strategy and development with our brokers and clients. /li liFocus on involving all stakeholders within AIG, strive for alignment. /li liMonitor the insurance market, retrieve opportunities and translate these opportunities into AIG appetite. /li liYou will report to both the Country manager and the Cluster Head of Distribution and will be part of the local executive committee. /li liYou will directly manage a team of 4 people (Brokers and Clients relationships managers) and will have strong interactions with our Marketing and Communication department. /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 ul liA professional with at least 10 years of relevant experience ideally in the insurance or banking industry with a demonstrated experience in managing a commercial team. /li liExperience of corporate insurance programmes both local and multinational, particularly across main Commercial Lines products. /li liStrong track record of market facing success. /li liClear understanding of technical processes behind policy issuance. /li liStrong written and verbal communication skills and proven interpersonal skills. /li liProficiency in French, Dutch and English. /li liAn experience in a multinational organization with matrix structure is a plus. /li /ul h3Leadership Skills And Expertise /h3 ul liOrganizational Skills – personal efficiency, strong planning and strategy development skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands are key. /li liCommunication Skills – Build relationships and collaborate with others, manage diverse personalities and viewpoints. /li liNegotiation Skills – Ability to convince clients, producers, peer executives and staff. /li liProven people management and leadership skills. /li liProven ability to manage a broad range of stakeholders and solve problems. /li liHighly collaborative approach across functions and geographies. /li /ul pAt AIG, we value in-person collaboration as a vital part of our culture, which is why we ask our team members to be primarily in the office.
