Alpaflow is seeking an operationally-minded person to lead a software team.
You will participate in the design and shipping of a complex software stack, manage experts and projects to achieve the goals.
We promise: it won’t involve a cheap ChatGPT integration to check the “LLM powered” box in a marketing description ;)

Requirements
* You like to work in an industrial ecosystem or you are eager to discover it.
* Master's degree in engineering or computer sciences. You have 5+ years of experience building software projects, and 2+ years of experience with project management.
* You have several years of experience using Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Linux, AWS or GCP. You like automating the work with reliable CI/CD pipelines. You are a technical leader.
* You are great at engaging the stakeholders: listen to the context, understand them and, while the team executes, report the progress and impediments.
* You have experience in leading a technical team.
* You know a high-level programming language (Python, Go, Java, R…), SQL and are willing to learn Python.
* Fluency in French and English is required.
Nice to have
* Previous experience in:applied research around robotics; artificial intelligence;data engineering; industrial software development or integration.
* You worked with manufacturing or energy data systems. You know what a manufacturing operations management solution, a unified namespace or a warehouse management system is.
* Knowledge of Clickhouse, Django or Flask, Gitlab, streaming and batch data processing.
* Previous experience in data analysis with Jupyter/Pandas/…

* You can work from anywhere in Belgium.
* You pay a visit to our office in Brussels (Ixelles) from time to time (~1 day/week). If you prefer, you can work there on the other days too.
* As a team leader, when your team is deployed onsite, you are expected to be at the site for the necessary time. The deployment zone should be around Nivelles, Louvain-la-Neuve and Liège.

The project
Alpaflow is currently pushing the productivity of our industrial base in Belgium and Europe. This requires innovative people and teams helping our national treasures to be more competitive in these uncertain times.

We provide our customers with services in the fields we love and excel in: software and hardware development, operational technology, IoT, data systems and data analysis. Our offer is all-inclusive: requirements analysis, development, maintenance and hosting. Our technological stack goes from Python to PostgreSQL and Kubernetes.
Alpaflow’s new big projects for 2026 focus on providing data services and products to the industrial sector (“connected factories to re-industrialise Europe”).
