Job Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
Preparation and/or review of Local Financial statements for the Benelux entities
Coordinating accounting and transactional activities with the Shared Service Center (SSC)
Overseeing VAT declarations with support from external advisers and ensuring regulatory compliance
Supporting payroll processes in collaboration with HR and external providers across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg
Assisting with external audits and acting as a key point of contact for auditors
Following up on accounts payable topics in close cooperation with procurement and internal stakeholders
Contributing to the implementation of a new Oracle ERP system
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
3 to 4 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis or a similar role
Good understanding of accounting processes and VAT; knowledge of corporate income tax is a plus
Comfortable working with shared service centers without direct people management
Strong Excel skills and interest in systems and process optimization
Fluent in English and Dutch mandatory
