We are supporting an industrial engineering partner on a time-critical electrical retrofit project involving the revamp and rebuild of an existing installation. The project is effectively secured and requires an experienced Electrical Hardware Engineer with strong EPLAN expertise who can move fast, work independently, and support both engineering and site execution.
This is a hands-on role combining engineering, validation, and on-site technical support under tight deadlines.
Project Scope
You will be responsible for the electrical redesign and execution support of an existing industrial installation:
* Electrical hardware engineering using EPLAN (engineering-level)
* Rebuilding and updating schematics based on legacy installations
* Electrical cabinet redesign, verification, and recommissioning
* On-site support during installation and testing phases
* Critical site execution during the Easter shutdown period (mid-April)
Key Responsibilities
* Design and engineer electrical drawings in EPLAN
* Analyse existing electrical installations and translate them into updated documentation
* Validate and check electrical cabinet builds
* Technically support and guide electricians on site
* Be present during commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting
* Act as the technical reference for the electrical scope
Required Experience
* Strong hands-on experience with EPLAN (engineering, not drafting only)
* Electrical hardware engineering background
* Proven experience working on retrofit / revamp projects
* Experience with cabinet design and verification
* Ability to understand and reverse-engineer existing installations
* Comfortable supporting installation and commissioning on site
* Able to work independently under tight timelines
