Construction Project Manager Job
We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to defined deadlines and managing the budget.
About This Role
* Project Management: Oversee all aspects of construction projects during the construction phase, ensuring adherence to defined deadlines and managing the budget.
* Safety and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the construction and commissioning phases.
* Team Leadership: Lead the MSA team in resourcing management for the project portfolio, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among team members.
* Scheduling: Determine the scheduling of different phases of a project and organize campus shut-downs of facility-related projects within E&PS.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure project compliance with EH&S regulations, permits, procedures, and policies to external CM partners.
* Represent the project manager during the construction phase.
* Assist in the PDP light process, focusing on constructability and selecting the right contractors for the project.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Civil or equivalent through experience.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior experience with capital project execution in the Chemical or Pharm industry.
* Strong technical skills in infrastructure, utilities, and facilities engineering.
* Familiarity with J&J PM approaches (FPX & IDEA Project Delivery Process).
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, specifically in supervising CM companies and managing mid-scale projects.
* Prior experience with capital projects in the industry.
* Knowledge of relevant rules and regulations, as well as safety permits and standards (GxP, Limosa, Belgian legislation).
