What You'll Do
Market & Launch Leadership
* Define and segment the market with a comprehensive, patient-centered approach.
* Lead launch readiness and lifecycle strategies to maximize brand potential and address market gaps.
Strategic Planning & Execution
* Lead the Patient Strategy Leadership Team (PSLT) and drive integrated strategic planning across global and regional teams.
* Implement global marketing strategies aligned with asset and corporate goals.
Brand Management
* Develop compelling brand positioning, messaging, and identity.
* Champion the brand to deliver outstanding healthcare provider (HCP) experiences and ensure alignment across regions.
* Manage agency partners to build engaging brand stories.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Collaborate with senior leadership to align strategies with business and regulatory requirements.
* Engage internal and external stakeholders to deliver optimal patient and caregiver outcomes.
Leadership & Team Development
* Foster a culture of continuous learning and advance UCB's leadership in epilepsy and related disorders.
* Build and orchestrate cross-functional teams for asset maximization.
Market Sizing & Performance Measurement
* Conduct commercial assessments and scenario planning.
* Set and track metrics to measure marketing effectiveness and ROI.
* Adjust strategies based on performance data and market evolution.
Healthcare Ecosystem & Value Innovation
* Navigate payer and regulatory environments to ensure market access and recognition of innovation.
* Work with payers for successful market entry and sustainability.
* Engage with the broader care ecosystem to enhance patient benefits.
Data-Driven Decision Making
* Leverage integrated insights and analytics for strategic decisions.
* Use patient insights to inform strategy and planning.
* Build holistic market understanding and execute brand plans in a digital, omnichannel environment.
Who You'll Work With
You'll collaborate with global and regional teams, medical affairs, patient engagement, market access, regulatory, commercial, and agency partners.
Interested? For this position, you'll need the following education, experience and skills:
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree.
* 10+ years in strategic leadership roles influencing business strategy, preferably in both global and local contexts.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in Epilepsy, Neurology, or specialty frameworks.
* Expertise in market access, global launches, lifecycle planning, and cross-functional leadership.
* Proven marketing execution, business acumen, advanced analytics, and digital/omnichannel strategy.
Internal applicants should be in their current job for at least 12 months, must meet performance standards and are not on formal corrective/disciplinary process (PIP), warning, final warning, or compliance warning letters within the last 12 months.
