B.E.S. (Business & Engineering Solutions) is growing and thus welcoming a new Manufacturing Tooling & Machining Process Engineer in our Aeronautics team.
As a Manufacturing Tooling & Machining Process Engineer at B.E.S., you will enjoy a collaborative environment where you will work closely with others in an organization that encourages and values collaboration, mentoring, and continuous learning.
Your Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of machining processes and manufacturing methods
* Support and coordinate technical audits related to manufacturing processes
* Manage day-to-day cutting tool activities, including:
* tooling inventory monitoring
* supplier coordination and communication
* Identify opportunities to reduce costs associated with consumables and tooling
* Collaborate with tooling suppliers and technology partners, while monitoring new technologies and industry developments
* Investigate tool failures, wear patterns, and machining issues, and propose corrective actions
* Provide technical support to production teams regarding tooling and machining challenges
* Define and participate in testing, validation, and implementation of new cutting tools
* Contribute to industrialization projects and process improvement initiatives
Your Profile:
* Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Good command of English (written and spoken) and ability to work in an audit-driven environment
* Strong technical interest and analytical mindset
* Comfortable working close to production and shop floor teams
* Effective communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to take ownership and manage responsibilities
* Capable of planning and following up on technical projects
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and structured problem-solving methods
* Experience with machine tools, machining processes, or cutting tools would be considered an advantage
