The Role
As a Project Engineer / Project Manager, you will play a key coordinating role between internal engineering teams, clients, and external contractors. You’ll be responsible for managing industrial construction and installation modification projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all phases of project delivery: planning, budgeting, resourcing, and execution.
* Coordinate internal technical disciplines (HVAC, electrical, process, architecture, etc.) and subcontractors.
* Oversee on-site activities in Belgium and abroad, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Act as the main point of contact for clients and provide regular project updates.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (GMP, ISO, etc.) and internal quality procedures.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management and technical processes.
Profile
* Engineering degree (mechanical, electromechanical, process, construction, or equivalent).
* 5 to 10 years of experience in project management within an industrial or construction environment, ideally involving factory construction, retrofit, or cleanroom projects.
* Fluent in Dutch and French (bilingual proficiency required); English is a strong asset.
* Solid experience with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
* Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
* Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for international projects.
* A proactive mindset and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
