Our client is a well-established organization active in the services sector, operating across multiple European countries. The company employs several thousand people and is known for its structured yet collaborative corporate culture. Finance plays a central role within the organization, with strong interaction between Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal and other internal stakeholders. The Belgian headquarters acts as a key European support center, working closely with local entities in different markets.You will join a professional and multicultural environment where accuracy, improvement and teamwork are valued.Your new roleAs Accounting Manager, you report to the Senior Accounting Manager and take responsibility for accounting and financial reporting activities for several legal entities. You combine operational accounting with a managerial and project‐driven role in a high‐visibility environment.Your responsibilities include:Ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in line with IFRS and local GAAPManaging the Purchase‐to‐Pay process, intercompany activities and inventory accountingOverseeing month‐end, year‐end closing and statutory accounts for Belgian and French entitiesCoordinating management reporting, budget preparation and forecast supportActing as a key contact for auditors, tax specialists and external service providersSupporting financial system transformations and continuous process improvementsEnsuring compliance with internal control frameworks and regulatory requirementsManaging and developing a team of accounting professionalsCoordinating information flows between finance and non‐finance departmentsSupporting acquisitions, audits and special accounting projects when requiredThis role requires both hands‐on accounting involvement and the ability to lead, structure and optimize processes.Your profileYou are an experienced finance professional with strong people management skills and an international mindset.You bring:At least 10 years of experience in accounting, ideally in a multi‐entity environmentMinimum 4 years of managerial experience within accounting or finance teamsA degree in accounting, finance or a related fieldStrong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP and statutory reportingExperience with ERP systems, SAP knowledge is a mustAdvanced Excel skills and solid system affinityFluency in French and English, both written and spokenStrong organizational, communication and stakeholder management skillsA collaborative, structured and solution‐oriented working styleWhat you'll get in returnYou will join a financially sound, international organization offering a competitive salary package (up to €6200 gross/month, with company car, bonus, pension plan, meal vouchers, ...).
