THE ROLE
TreeTop is strengthening the technical foundation behind its Odoo, AI, automation, market‑data and digital operating model.
We are looking for a senior Infrastructure & Security Lead who has already managed a complete stack end to end.
Mission: own and run the secure and reliable operation of TreeTop’s technical platform, with particular focus on infrastructure, security controls, backup/recovery, monitoring, DevOps controls and vendor challenge.
YOUR TECHNICAL SCOPE
INFRASTRUCTURE & RUN
On‑premise hardware, servers, storage, VMs and hosting environments.
Windows and Ubuntu/Linux server operations, lifecycle, patching and capacity.
Docker/Kubernetes environments and self‑hosted/open‑source platforms.
Monitoring, logging, alerting, incident handling and operational runbooks.
Professional documentation of open‑source/self‑hosted stacks.
SECURITY & RESILIENCE
End‑to‑end stack hardening: hardware, OS, containers, Kubernetes, apps, secrets and admin access.
Identity, MFA, privileged access, least privilege, onboarding/offboarding and access reviews.
Backups, restore testing, disaster recovery assumptions and ransomware‑resistant recovery patterns.
GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD, deployment tokens, secrets and software supply‑chain controls.
Risk‑based challenge of providers, technical evidence for audits and management visibility.
HOW YOU WILL WORK
TreeTop is building a stronger internal technology team to support its Odoo, AI, automation, market‑data and digital operating model.
You will work closely with the Head of IT, the AI Platform Engineer and the Odoo development team.
The Head of IT leads the technology roadmap, business alignment, delivery priorities, budget coordination and external‑resource model.
You lead the infrastructure and security foundation:
architecture, standards, configuration, hardening, monitoring
backup and recovery
For new platforms and major technical changes, the Head of IT coordinates delivery and resources.
You will help TreeTop move from a historically outsourced setup towards a model with stronger internal ownership of architecture, access governance, operational logic, security posture and key technical decisions.
External partners and specialised resources will support Microsoft, networking, first‑line support, regulatory reporting, formal evidence preparation, specialist reviews and selected implementation work.
A core part of the role is to improve the infrastructure so that recurring issues become standardised, automated or structurally solved.
You will strengthen identity flows, endpoint standards, privileged‑access governance, monitoring, recovery capability and operational discipline.
Documentation is treated as an engineering asset.
You will maintain practical architecture diagrams, access models, backup and recovery logic, endpoint standards, runbooks, key configuration decisions and technical evidence.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE
Substantial relevant experience in infrastructure, technical operations, platform engineering, security engineering or DevOps, typically demonstrated through 8+ years of hands‑on responsibility.
Hands‑on ownership of complete environments, not only ticket coordination or vendor management.
Strong Linux and Windows server administration, virtualization, networking fundamentals and backup/recovery.
Docker and Kubernetes operations with practical security judgement.
Ability to explain risks clearly to management and challenge vendors constructively.
STRONG ADVANTAGES
Regulated financial services, CSSF/FSMA/DORA exposure or audit‑facing technical evidence.
Bloomberg connectivity, market‑data feeds or financial application environments.
Odoo, n8n, LiteLLM, internal AI tooling or self‑hosted open‑source platforms.
Experience reducing Microsoft dependency or operating hybrid Microsoft/open‑source environments.
Certifications are welcome, but practical engineering credibility matters more.

able to keep administration lean while documenting professionally where it matters;
comfortable in an SME where decisions are close to the business and good engineering has visible impact;
clear, calm and credible with both engineers and management.
COMPENSATION
Gross annual salary range of €70,000‑€100,000, plus a competitive Belgian benefits package including benefits in kind.
The final offer will be based on role‑related criteria such as relevant experience and technical depth.
LANGUAGES
English and French required. Dutch is a plus.
