To further strengthen our social media presence, we are looking for a Digital Visual Storyteller. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing visual and editorial content for our social media channels. You will translate our mission and activities into content that resonates with and engages the public. You combine creativity with a strong understanding of social media, knowing what works for our audience. You will work closely with colleagues across the organization and ensure that our social media channels are active, recognizable, and high-quality. Your role As a Digital Visual Storyteller, you are responsible for our social media from concept to execution. You ensure a consistent and relevant presence across our channels and contribute to the visibility and engagement around our work. Your responsibilities Social Media & Content Creation Translate the communication strategy into concrete and relevant social media content Develop and maintain a realistic content calendar Generate creative angles and formats that resonate with our target audience Work with existing visual material and transform it into engaging, polished content Create photos or short videos when needed Write compelling copy Help build an engaged online community and encourage interaction Track results and adjust content as necessary (Optional) Graphic Support – Print Design simple graphic materials to support communication around programs or projects (e.g., flyers, posters) Your profile Degree in communication, media, or graphic design, or equivalent experience Bilingual (NL/FR) Strong affinity for social media and visual content Hands-on content creator (video, short-form content, visuals) Able to creatively work with existing visual material and turn it into impactful content Basic photography and/or video skills and willing to create content when needed Proficient in Canva; basic knowledge of Adobe tools is a plus Data-driven approach, using insights to improve content Independent, proactive, and pragmatic Enjoys collaborating and communicates clearly What we offer A creative role in an organization committed to children's safety The opportunity to create social media content with social impact Room for initiative and creativity within a defined framework Part-time position (50%) with a clear and manageable set of responsibilities Fixed workplace in Brussels Start date: as soon as possible Working hours can be adjusted if additional graphic tasks are included. xjsrcvq Interested?
