Job Description
As a Lab Analyst working in pharmaceutical sciences, you will perform analytical testing work covering Solid-State Characterization Methods.
Responsibilities
* Solid state characterization in support of physical stability studies, API comparability, excipient compatibility, milling trials, spray-drying trials, batch overviews, and design of experiments (drug substance & drug product).
* Characterization of samples according to defined methods or protocols using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Infrared Spectroscopy (IR), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), Modulated DSC (MDSC), and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) of spray-dried products.
* Setting up and managing physical stability open dish stress studies.
* Informing about potential technical/scientific challenges and risks, prioritization, or resource conflicts.
* Reviewing, interpreting, and reporting analytical data.
* Handling requests from different scientists and ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines, operating procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in chemistry, preferably analytical chemistry.
* Experience with chromatographic and/or spectroscopic techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, GC‑Hs, and MS is desirable.
* Accurate, independent work style with the ability to handle stress.
* Team player, flexible, and strong communication skills.
* Fluent in English.
