Overview
We wish to appoint a Quality (Assurance) Manager to support the expanding BENELUX business unit. The role provides a great opportunity for career development and to gain management experience.
The successful person will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of PM Group’s Quality Management System (QMS). Ensuring the highest standards of quality across all of our BENELUX business units and sites driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Reporting to the Operation Manager, the successful applicant will identify and embed improvements in our service delivery platforms and work practices.
Responsibilities
1. Identify and embed improvements in our service delivery platforms and work practices.
2. Promote consistent quality assurance practices and drive the adoption of critical company procedures across the BENELUX
3. Perform internal audits (BENELUX business units and sites) and drive the resolution and close out of corrective actions
4. Facilitate audits by external parties, i.e. ISO certification bodies, Customer, etc.
5. Conduct training (QMS inductions, core QMS document awareness training, etc.)
6. Provide advice and assistance to management and employees on compliance / QMS related queries
7. Manage and lead the Quality and Document Control teams
8. Ensure adequate focus is put on the planning and initiation phase of new projects
9. Liaise regularly with the Operation Manager, Engineering Manager and Head of Projects to drive improvement initiatives
10. Facilitate the capture and transfer of lessons on projects
11. Support the customer feedback process, including analysis of results and identification of process improvements
12. Assist with the development of localised procedures where required, ensuring consistency and compliance to PM Group’s QMS
13. Provide input for proposals
14. Contribute to the development and implementation of Group improvement programs (including Digital Project Delivery procedures)
15. Provide timely feedback for monthly reports / Quality metrics / management meetings
Qualifications
16. Preferably Bachelor Degree or equivalent in an engineering, architecture or related discipline
17. Proven experience working in a Quality Management role is essential
18. Experience working in the engineering consultancy sector is desirable
19. Excellent collaborative and people skills
20. Problem solving skills
21. Strategic vision
22. Able to communicate with stakeholders across a multi-cultural environment as part of a global team
23. Broad experience on multi-discipline projects desirable
24. Accuracy and attention to detail essential
25. Excellent communication skills
26. Self-starter and decision maker
27. Experience in quality and continuous improvement initiatives
28. Advanced in digital tools – e.g Microsoft, Sharepoint etc.
29. Flexibility to travel as and when required to meet demands of the role
30. Good knowledge of English, French and Dutch
