We’re looking for a Senior Java – Angular Architect Consultant to join our client’s team and take a leading role in delivering high-quality software solutions across complex environments. In this position, you’ll combine deep technical expertise with team leadership, supporting development teams while shaping architecture and driving best practices.
Role & Responsibilities
As a key contributor within our client’s organization, you will:
* Lead and support a team of Java developers, including task distribution, coordination, and oversight of development activities
* Organize and drive structured code review processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
* Design and define scalable architectures for both existing applications and new developments
* Translate business needs into clear, coherent architectural solutions across multiple domains
* Propose improvements and optimizations to existing systems through strong analytical and abstraction capabilities
* Collaborate effectively within established teams and contribute to a positive and productive team dynamic
Profile & Experience
The ideal candidate is both a strong technical expert and an experienced team lead:
* Extensive experience in Java development, with a strong architectural mindset
* Proven experience managing or coordinating development teams
* Strong ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
* Excellent communication skills and ability to integrate seamlessly into existing teams
* Comfortable working in multilingual environments (French or Dutch required, with at least a basic understanding of the other language)
Technical Expertise
* Java EE (around 10 years of experience)
* RDBMS, SQL, JPA (around 10 years)
* RESTful Web Services (around 8 years)
* Security protocols such as OAuth (around 3 years)
* Angular (around 5 years)
* Spring Framework (around 5 years)
Additional Requirements
* Ability to operate in environments with specific regulatory or compliance constraints
* Due to project-related requirements, candidates must hold Belgian nationality
