Your new role
As an IT Support Technician, you will provide 1st/2nd line support to internal users. Your responsibilities include:
1. Handling incoming tickets via the ticketing system and resolving issues related to hardware, printers, scanners, and telephony.
2. Assisting users with Microsoft Windows, Open Office, Thunderbird, and network-related problems (TCP/IP).
3. Managing onboarding and offboarding processes: preparing laptops, setting up user access.
4. Performing basic troubleshooting for servers and network issues, escalating when necessary.
5. Participating in IT projects and contributing to process improvements.
This role is office-based, with no travel required. You will work in a team of three first-line technicians and collaborate closely with system engineers.
Your profile
To succeed in this role, you have:
6. Language skills: fluent in French or Dutch, with a good understanding of the other language. English is not mandatory.
7. A Bachelor’s degree in IT OR equivalent experience.
8. At least one year of relevant experience in IT support.
9. Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP). Linux knowledge is an asset.
10. Strong communication skills, customer-oriented mindset, and ability to prioritize under pressure.
11. A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and curiosity about new technologies.
