Tasks
The Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for the strategy, governance, implementation, and evolution of Business Intelligence solutions. He/she leads BI activities in a technological environment based on SAP Datasphere, SAP BW, Cognos, and Power BI, ensuring data quality, the relevance of analyses, and the performance of decision-making tools.
Responsibilities
Defines and maintains the group's BI standards and governance, ensures alignment of BI initiatives with business and IT strategies, and manages the BI roadmap in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders,
Manages and prioritizes BI requests, oversees BI projects from planning to delivery, handles the BI budget, and ensures the maintenance and evolution of existing BI solutions,
Leads internal BI teams and external providers, collaborates closely with business stakeholders to co-develop solutions, and actively participates in governance bodies and industry events,
Profile
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of experience in BI, including 5 years in project management or leadership roles
Experience in an industrial environment is highly valued
Fluency in French and English (spoken and written), with knowledge of Dutch considered a plus
Proficiency in BI tools: SAP Datasphere, SAP BW, Cognos, and Power BI
Knowledge of advanced visualization tools: Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud
Experience with ETL tools: SAP Data Services, Talend, Informatica
Proficiency in SQL and relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB)
Knowledge of cloud architectures: Azure, AWS, or GCP
Experience in metadata management and data cataloging
Proficiency in data security and compliance principles (GDPR, ISO 27001)
Preferred certification: PMP, Prince2, or Agile/Scrum
Experience in change management: user support, training, communication
Ability to manage multi-country or multi-site projects
Experienced in predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and data storytelling to deliver clear, actionable insights
Organized, diplomatic, and results-driven, with strong influence and stress management abilities
