Our client is an international company managing a large European real estate portfolio and employing several hundred professionals across multiple countries. You will join a finance team where knowledge sharing, accuracy and cross‐departmental cooperation are key. Your new roleAs Real Estate Accountant you will play an important role in the accounting and reporting activities related to real estate projects across Europe. You will support the follow‐up of construction, renovation and maintenance projects, working closely with internal stakeholders such as development teams, local accounting teams and operations.Monitoring commitments and expenditures related to real estate projects, ensuring accurate and timely accountingAssisting with invoice processing: follow‐up, review of allocations, and ensuring correct application of VAT and legal entity detailsProviding support during monthly and quarterly closings, including reconciliations, depreciation and capitalization processesPreparing financial information for project reporting and budgetsCollaborating with internal teams on audits, tax-related documentation and various ad‐hoc assignmentsContributing to process improvements and system optimization within the finance department Your profileFor this Real Estate Accountant role we are looking for someone with:A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance or economics, or equivalent experienceAt least 3 years of experience in accountingA professional background in the services or retail sector, which is essential for this positionFluency in English, both spoken and writtenStrong SAP knowledge, as this is a key tool used dailySolid Excel skills and an interest in working with multiple IT systemsA proactive mindset, attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities in a structured mannerTeam spirit and willingness to collaborate with colleagues across different departments and countries Experience in a real estate environment or working with IFRS/local GAAP is considered a plus.
