About us

Thinc is a digital product studio run by me (Ben) where I help teams turn complex digital ideas into fast, flexible platforms. From tailor-made websites and custom applications to long-term support, I’m hands-on, from strategy to launch.


Role Summary

I'm seeking an entrepreneurial Business Development Partner to secure new project work on a commission basis, helping to grow and expand our business. You’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification to closing—while our in‑house team (me and other freelancers) focus on delivery. Ideal for an established sales professional who already serves complementary digital vendors and wants to expand their portfolio.


Key Responsibilities

* Identify and engage decision‑makers (Marketing, Product, Founders) at target companies with €10k‑€150k annual digital budgets.
* Pitch our service offering (UX audits, responsive websites, web apps, maintenance retainers) and articulate clear ROI.
* Manage pipeline and forecasting in our shared CRM (HubSpot Free).
* Lead discovery calls, scope high‑level requirements, and secure signed proposals/SOWs.
* Coordinate with me for accurate estimating and solution fit.
* Maintain relationships to maximise repeat and referral business.
* Provide weekly status updates and quarterly revenue projections.


Compensation

* Commission: 15 %* of net project revenue, paid within 7 days of client payment.
* Residuals: 10 %* on follow‑on work from your accounts for 12 months.
* Bonuses: An Additional 3 %* for exceeding quarterly targets by 25 % or more.


*All percentages negotiable based on existing network size and deal values.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

* Minimum 3 qualified leads per month after a 30‑day ramp‑up.
* Close rate ≥ 20 % on proposals issued.
* Quarterly new‑revenue target: €40k-50k

Required Skills & Experience

* 3+ years selling digital services (web development, SaaS, marketing) to B2B clients.
* Proven track record in the Benelux/Germany or other English‑speaking markets.
* Track record of closing €10k‑€100k service engagements.
* Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Familiarity with common CMS/tech stacks (WordPress, Laravel, Strapi, Shopify, ...) sufficient to discuss value (no coding required).
* Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
