Job Description The role of the Operational Data Lead is to drive the data quality strategy for critical operational data domains. This involves defining and documenting business concepts, their terms, rules, and impact. The lead will also analyze root causes when KPIs do not meet targets and contribute to projects that anchor data quality processes. Key responsibilities include following up on KPIs, defining corrective actions, and aligning these with operational managers. The ideal candidate should be familiar with the electricity domain, have a technical background, and experience in data management and exploitation. Strong communication and analytic skills are required. This position is part of an initiative to become a more data-centric organization, improving system operations and security of supply for Belgian consumers. As an example, the service will improve the quality of forecasted solar & wind renewable production data used by the entire organization. Required Skills and Qualifications Familiarity with the electricity domain or ability to understand it rapidly. Technical academic background. Experience in data management and exploitation.
