Overview
Role Overview: Our client currently has a vacancy for an Application/ Cloud Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Requirements
University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience;
At least 5 years of experience in Angular;
At least 5 years of experience in Java ;
At least 2 years of experience in building pipeline with AWS CDK;
Good knowledge of Amazon services such as S3, IAM, cloudfront, ECR, EFS, RDS, CodeBuild, Code Pipeline and CodeCommit;
Knowledge of Wildfly, PostgreSQL and Docker;
Knowledge of Bash, webservices SOAP and REST and Spring Boot;
Knowledge of Python;
The following certification would be an asset: AWS Architect or Developer;

Responsibilities
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC);
Analyze and model data, systems integration and enterprise processes;
Design, develop and evolve cloud and enterprise architectures;
Define architecture components, building blocks and development guidelines;
Lead technical coordination between stakeholders, architects and developers;
Produce and maintain architecture and technical documentation;
Assess and modernize existing systems, including cloud migration strategies;
Develop, integrate, deploy and maintain backend and frontend systems;
Oversee implementation of technical architecture and system configuration;
Monitor systems, handle incident management (3rd level support), and bug tracking;
Participate in technical working groups, user meetings and progress reviews;
Support testing, deployment, evaluation and reporting activities;
Analyze information systems portfolio and corporate data flows;
Mentor junior team members and review technical deliverables.
