Context & Organization
In the drive toward global decarbonization, the Supply & Energy Management (S&EM) division plays a critical role in optimizing renewable assets. You will join the Origination and Contract Management IS team, which develops essential tools for representing and operating "green" assets.
The scope of this suite covers PPA origination (tendering & pricing), contract lifecycle management, financial risk management, P&L computation, and invoicing. Within this center, the Res Pre Trade team focuses specifically on the upstream value chain: opportunity management, tendering, and the link between Originators and Traders. You will collaborate with architects, developers, and data analysts to deliver systems that directly impact trading strategies and renewable integration.
Main Activities
As a Business Analyst, your mission includes:
Requirement Analysis: Identify and evaluate business needs for renewable asset management, grid integration, and power market trading.
Functional Design: Write detailed functional requirements for asset management, contract management, and trading systems.
Quality Assurance: Write and execute test cases to ensure the technical implementation aligns perfectly with business requirements.
Documentation: Create comprehensive functional guides, ranging from low-level "How-to" manuals for onboarding to high-level end-to-end process overviews.
Profile & Skills
Hard Skills
Market Expertise: In-depth knowledge of power markets and the specificities of renewable technologies regarding trading and asset management.
Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Python and SQL with a background in software development or data science.
Cloud & Data: Familiarity with AWS (or similar cloud tools) and relational databases.
Bonus: Experience in wholesale trading or operating assets in ancillary service markets is a significant plus.
Languages
Dutch or French: Knowledge of either is considered an asset.
