About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to internal users, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and contributing to the continuous improvement of IT services.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary contact for IT support requests
* Install, configure, and maintain software and operating systems
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
* Maintain accurate records of IT assets, repairs, and support activities
* Enforce IT policies and ensure compliance with internal standards
* Manage user accounts and access rights
* Coordinate off-site repairs with external vendors
* Test and deploy new applications and system updates
* Monitor data backups and perform recovery tests
* Support and mentor junior IT staff
* Lead training sessions for end users
Key Qualifications and Skills:
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
* Fluent in English; minimal understanding of one of the local languages (FR or NL); additional languages are a plus
* Experience in a technical support or customer service role, ideally in a corporate environment
* Familiarity with remote support tools and IT service management systems
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Willingness to occasionally work outside regular hours when needed
