Description de l'offre

Mission

Keep our automated visual‑inspection platform running at peak performance and continuously push its detection accuracy and false‑reject rates to industry‑leading levels. You will be the go‑to vision expert inside the plant, translating new product requirements into robust inspection recipes and coaching technicians and engineers alike.

Key Responsibilities

* Own the health and evolution of all AVI machines: troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, CAPA execution.
* Design and refine vision recipes for new products, balancing sensitivity vs. false‑reject trade‑offs.
* Conduct structured trials and data‑driven optimisation projects to cut false rejects and boost defect‑detection capability.
* Provide real‑time support to Production and QA during deviations, non‑conformances and change controls.
* Lead or mentor root‑cause investigations related to vision processes and upstream variables.
* Translate global vision strategy into plant‑level control plans, SOPs and risk assessments.
* Maintain technical documentation, training material and knowledge base for vision systems.
* Stay current on new vision technologies and evaluate their fit for future upgrades.
* Ensure full compliance with GMP, regulatory standards and internal QMS policies.
* Act as internal consultant—coaching, mentoring and upskilling technicians and junior engineers.

Education

* Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Automation, Electromechanical, Computer Science or related engineering field.

Experience

* 4–6 years of hands‑on experience with industrial vision systems, preferably in pharma or highly regulated manufacturing.
* Proven track record of developing and fine‑tuning vision recipes and algorithms in Cognex, Keyence, Matrox or similar platforms.
* Solid understanding of GMP, validation protocols and change‑control processes.

Core Skills

* Deep knowledge of lighting, optics, cameras and image‑processing algorithms.
* Strong data‑analysis mindset—capable of designing DoE, interpreting SPC charts and driving statistically significant improvements.
